The DRS for Cloud feature is being enabled sometime after the Asia-Pacific business day to support replications between public MCP 2.0 locations in the Asia-Pacific (AP) Geographic Region.

The DRS feature allows users to implement real-time replication of the disk state of multiple Cloud Servers to another location in the same Geographic Region, with the ability to restore multiple Target servers to the disk state of their paired Source servers at an identical point-in-time.
This rollout expands DRS support to users who wish to use DRS for Cloud to support replication scenarios between servers in different MCP 2.0 locations. As such, the replication being enabled in this rollout is bi-directional - users will be able to create Consistency Groups with:
Source in AP3 (Singapore MCP 2.0) -> Target in AP5 (Hong Kong MCP 2.0) Source in AP5 (Hong Kong MCP 2.0) -> Target in AP3 (Singapore MCP 2.0)
There is an additional hourly usage element recorded for use of the feature.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The DRS feature is only visible in the UI to Primary Administrators and users with the DRS role.
There is no CloudControl UI or API downtime nor impact to any existing Cloud Servers and Networks due to this change. This notification is for informational purposes only.
