As described below, a small number of servers were successful. We will be addressing servers that were not successfully updated on July 10th at 18:00 UTC:
CloudControl Change Id: OEC-11550 Time: 08:00 PM South Africa Standard Time (18:00 UTC) Expected Total Duration: Up to 12 Hours
The June 24th change was designed to implement changes to all existing disks to allow them to burst only up the following IOPS and Throughput limits based on their disk speed:
ECONOMY: Greater of 100 IOPS or 0.5 IOPS/GB based on the size of the disk STANDARD: Greater of 500 IOPS or 3 IOPS/GB based on the size of the disk HIGH PERFORMANCE: Greater of 800 IOPS or 6 IOPS/GB based on the size of the disk ALL THREE SPEEDS: Throughput limit equal to the IOPS maximum x 16 KB (Kilobytes). This limit applies in addition to the above IOPS limit.
A review has indicated a small number of servers were not properly implemented with the change, leading to inconsistent performance.
In this event, the system will re-attempt the change ONLY on servers that are not conforming to the limits above. All other existing servers will be unaffected. If an affected server is running when the change is implemented, the system will vMotion the server so that the changes take immediate effect. No restart is required.
