We will be performing a minor software upgrade to the CloudControl API in all Geographic Regions on Tuesday December 10th during the normal software upgrade window in each region:

This minor API software upgrade includes API support for vApp Properties on Cloud Servers. The system will now identify vApp properties on Cloud Servers and allow users to manage both values and the properties themselves, including support for creating custom vApp Property schemas. The release also prepares the system for introduction of archiving for System Cloud Server Snapshots. In addition, improvements have been made to the reliability of a number of functions, particularly those relating to disk changes on a running server.
During the software upgrade, all Cloud Servers and Network assets you've deployed will be unaffected. However, the CloudControl API will be unavailable during the software upgrade for the duration listed above. The CloudControl UI will remain available but will be unable to process requests in the affected Geographic Regions during their windows.
